The Minority Mini Workshop Series will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 11 am- 12:30 pm at the Baptist Center at 2400 West Strong Street in Pensacola. The workshop will be hosted by The Laymens and Ushers Institute of the First West Florida Baptist Association, Friends of the Community Maritime Park, Arlene Williams Barbeque, and Audra Carter's "Bridging the Gap" television and radio interview programs, airing on WUWF TV-4 and WEBY AM-1330.

Following the workshop participants will be invited to the Friends of the Community Maritime Park Mini Musical Festival hosted by Arlene Williams Barbeque. It is located at 3420 Mobile Highway, across from the Brownsville Army-Navy Store. The featured music entertainment will be provided by blues, Gospel, jazz, and Latin, bands. Fifty cents of each sale from food and beverages will be donated to the Friends of the Community Maritime Park.
