We wanted to alert you to these series of important broadcasts coming up over the next few weeks. The PNJ did such a great job telling the story that we decided to pick-up the story verbatim and share it with all our Friends!

New BLAB show debuts Wednesday From staff reports
A new television show that will premier Wednesday on BLAB-TV will take a detailed look at the Pensacola community.
The first topic for the new show ? "Pensacola: A Proud Past, A Better Tomorrow" ? will be the state of job development and wages in Escambia County.
Guests include Rick Harper, director of the Haas Center for Research and Economic Development at the University of West Florida, and representatives from economic development agencies in Escambia, Santa Rosa counties, and Mobile and Baldwin counties in Alabama.
Representatives from Pensacola Young Professionals also will discuss the local economy from the perspective of those entering the job market and working to establish their careers in an uncertain economy.
The show will be rebroadcast several times during a two-week period and is the first of seven in the series.
The series will cover a range of economic and social issues affecting Escambia County, including education, the environment, housing, health, and economic development.
BLAB-TV is on Channel 6 for Cox Cable customers in Escambia County, and on Channel 38 for Mediacom customers in Santa Rosa County.
