The news keeps getting better and better about the Community Maritime Park! Today, the Board of Trustees authorized Ed Spears, acting executive director of the non-profit CMPA to prepare a Memorandum of Understanding that will engage both the Pelicans baseball team and Emerald Diamond, a concession company, to enter into a contract with a negotiator representing them, and the non-profit CMPA, when getting a contract for beverages and other concessions at the park.

What makes this so great is that it means that not only will all profits from the Pelicans be donated back to the non-profit CMPA, but also so will all profits from concessions as well!
