As a Pensacola native, I have seen our city struggle to adopt projects and devise programs that will be of use to the community and improve our economy without much results. I think the park is the key to a new direction for Pensacola. It has the potential for being an anchor for a Pensacola waterfront that is second to none in the area, drawing young and old, rich and poor, native and visitor to our city shores.
